Our annual Rummage Faire will be held in the tent next to the trading post during Winter Rendezvous. Les Amis is looking for donations of period correct items such as clothing, material, blankets, bags, jewelry, baskets, mugs, pottery, etc. We are asking supporters for these item donations that are to be sold during the Rummage Faire to the Fort’s Trading Post during the Winter Rendezvous, November 7th & 8th!

While you are attending our annual Winter Rendezvous, stop by our Rummage Faire tent to find that perfect something you have been looking for to complete or add to your reenacting collection. Also for sale in the Trading Post during the Rummage Faire will be Heart of Illinois Country Heritage Shop items such as our new selection of period clothing and other reenactment items, our heritage shop artisan items, Fort de Chartres t-shirts, French Colonial Fort de Chartres books and souvenirs!!!! Les Amis volunteers will be on hand during the Faire to help give advice and/or suggestions and proceeds will support Les Amis du Fort de Chartres on going mission.

If you would like to donate reenactment items that you no longer need or use, this is a perfect opportunity to share these items to encourage others to join in our volunteering and/or reenacting pursuits at Fort de Chartres. Les Amis volunteers will be on hand during the Faire to help give advice and all proceeds will support Les Amis du Fort de Chartres mission. Please bring your donated items in good condition and marked with a suggested price. Rummage Faire donations will be accepted during Trading Post open hours or at WR event registration.
