The Milice de Ste. Famille

The Milice de Ste. Famille is an interpretive living history group for the historic sites in the French Heritage corridor of Illinois and Missouri. 

The Milice promotes and educates the public about French culture and history of the early settlers of Upper Louisiana, focusing on the day-to-day living and lifestyles. 

We portray the villagers of Holy Family Parish, including farmers, bakers, hunters, craftspeople, doctors, and merchants who answered the call to join the militia and defend their homes when the need arose.
